Tòtem is a collection of bookmarks or page markers designed from a dual perspective: as both an everyday object and a piece of jewellery
Functionality, delicacy, and simplicity have been combined in the creation process to produce a piece that, thanks to its proportions and shapes, harmoniously coexists with the host book
Engravings with simple graphic motifs are applied as a texture to the metal, adding both contrast and uniqueness to the piece
Available in a variety of finishes:
- gold
- black

COMPOSITION
Body: tempered brass (gold) or aluminium (black) sheet, coated with a protective varnish layer
Handle: leather from tannery surpluses to promote sustainability

Design by Christian García
After studying goldsmithing in Tarragona, Christian García packed a suitcase and boarded a train bound for Barcelona. This journey led him to establish his own studio and participate in numerous exhibitions. An intense career defined by risk, passion, and a desire to experiment —a Molotov cocktail of creativity— has culminated in the design of these ritual objects of daily life, conceived to delight, seduce, provoke, and inspire if possible.
'My source of inspiration is people and the stories that arise from my pieces—their personal narratives and sentimental memories that speak of the individual. With an initial visit to the studio, I begin to explore my impressions, which gradually shape the jewel.'
