Strolling through the streets of Antananarivo, Madagascar's capital, and discovering the ancestral craftsmanship of natural fibres —particularly raffia, endemic to this fascinating island. This is how the story begins, in 2004.
RABARANY was born the following year. A brand that seamlessly blends creativity with the skill, meticulousness, and patience of artisans, both men and women who ensure the authenticity and delicacy of each handcrafted piece, whether a bag or an accessory.
Today, RABARANY employs over 2,000 people in Madagascar, operates four production units in Antananarivo, and collaborates with hundreds of partner stores worldwide, spreading the values of equity and sustainability that have driven the project since day one.
