MOBLES 114 is the brand that upholds both company culture and product. Physically and culturally identified with the city of Barcelona, the cradle of design in southern Europe, it began its activity in 1973 with JM Massana and JM Tremoleda, industrial designers, publishers, and directors of the company, who have sustained an ideology tied to both business and humanistic values of design.

In 2001, MOBLES 114 received the 'National Design Award 2001' for 'the perseverance and consistency demonstrated throughout its history, reflected in the quality of its products, for being a model of business strategy in the conception and use of design, and for actively participating in the culture of habitat.' That same year, it was awarded the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce Prize for Design Quality in Business.
